Fresh Fruit & Yogurt CoolersPrint
Above the hills, along the blue,
Round the bright air with footing true,
To please the child, to paint the rose,
The gardener of the world, he goes.
Robert Louis Stevenson, Summer Sun
I’m Lindsay. I live in Boston. I have no air conditioning. It’s June. Did you notice? I did. I make ice cubes out of fruit and yogurt and eat them all over town. They’re refreshing. Delightful. Cool. Sometimes I drop them down my shirt…
Fresh Fruit + Yogurt Coolers
Makes about 16 cubes
- 12 ounces yogurt (strawberry, raspberry, whatever you like)
- 1 cup small-diced fruit (I used strawberries + nectarines)
- Ice cube tray
- In small bowl, mix yogurt and diced fruit. Fill compartments of ice cube tray with mixture. Cover with foil and freeze.
- Pop a few out into a small dish. Let them melt a bit around the edges. Oooh la la. Enjoy! Best if eaten within a few days of freezing.
